First car was my grandma's mk2.
Only car I could fit in (I'm 6ft 7ins) and insure!

Second car was an RS2000 aged 19. Saw a stunning X-Pack car at a show.
Got addicted. Converted my car to flat front when I was 21.
Spent Porsche money on it since and probably done less than 3,000 miles but wouldn't have it any other way
Never for sale!

20 years old, Mk2 RS2000 Pre custom in black AJA 23T owned it 7 years, sold it a bought a series 2 RS Turbo, then a Sapphire Cosworth, Escort Cosworth. Gone full circle now and got another Mk2 RS2000 along with a few others.

my first escort was a 1600 sport in mettalic burgundy the ford colour for it was jupiter red its years ago but i think the reg was hcp373s it was 1 owner a mate i worked with on council had it from new called geoff smith i worked with him from 16 leaving school till i was 18 n then for a laugh i made him a bid of 1100 quid n he took it i sold it a year after for 850.00 lol wish i had it back now it was absolutely mint n i mean mint as new no rear spoiler no front spoiler just ford radio, n wen a paid him he told my mates on monday hed pullef one over on me on price lol wish i had it back now. .....wonder if its still kicking

In 1985 bought a Grp 2 Gomm shell RS1600 WYT 791T with all the goodies to go rallying , until 1992 when sold to help pay for house
