Your welcome Aled. I was only too pleased to come and meet up with you and see it for real. It is a really nice car that I know you will be proud to own and drive. I wish I had the readies to buy something like that myself. The body work is excellent, spray job top notch, underneath is like new, engine is awesome, and just needs a tune. Interior is immaculate. The restoration which has been carried out on your car has not been a quick makeover. A lot of time, money and effort has gone into it, with top components added, and is a credit to the restorer. It has gone to a good owner who will appreciate and cherish this vehicle.
Your going to have a grin from ear to ear driving your mk1 mex
Look forward to seeing it next weekend, would be nice to see OJX too, if you would let Dave your mate drive it down!

I HONESTLY thought I was dreaming. Buying a new car and being completely surrounded by floodwater and not getting it home?....There were some cars we saw in car parks actually floating like canoes, so yes, it was very dodgy. The closest shave was when we came across a landslide the size of a train carriage. Only a pushbike would squeeze through. Glad to be home.
