Its never nice....they all say that they would never do anything so bad....BUT THEY ALL DO... Went thourgh it about 10 years ago....cost me a house. car. bike. fee's. Would not like to think how much it all cost. Oh yes took half me pension aswel. Then told the kids apack of rubbish, so they think that i was the bad one.. Not seen them for 5 years now....Then we find someone else.. We must be mad....

The law sounds grossly unfair to me....however do you recover yourself from one mistake like that?

Its hard.. You work all week and weekends ect... to have nice things, then this happens and you have to start from scratch..but the women, normaly is sitting in a nice house ect...lost 25k just in my pension...and to top it, got make reduntant and the 10k pay out i got in the joint account...you got it......it was GONE... Then about 18 months later became very ill and cant work full time.. so its been a hard slog,, But life goes on No more joint banks..

What so your telling me if you live with someone for longer than 6 months they have then got the right to 50/50 no matter who paid for what & who put most of the money in I thought it was longer than that by god im fekd Oh & keep the chin up dermot you will smile again ........

6 months.......and if there are kids and its your house, you have to move out.....heard this a couple of times...

It was adjourned to next May. Too many cases listed to be heard. Next May's list is full so it could be Nov. 2010 before it's heard.
