                    • Axle

A slight over sight on the axle. I thought it was a Mk1 Capri 50” and it turned out to be a Mk3 Capri 52”. It turns out that all Atlas axles have the same part number on the pigs head whether its Mk1, Mk2 or Mk3 Capri . This only came to light when I started set the rear suspension ride height and the tyres jammed on the inside lip of the fibre glass arch. So after some more measuring the axle need narrowing by 2” .

I put the axle on a pallet and sent it to Fostek Engineering. It arrived back at the weekend and now is a 50” wide Atlas and looks like this .

A few pictures of axle fitted to the car .
