Engine and Gearbox Final Install
Engine mounted on cross member and gearbox fitted.
Engine Bay ready for install
Whole assembly wheeled under the car on a trolley
I had to raise the front of the car by 3 feet to get the engine on the trolley to go under the front spoiler.
Engine etc wheeled under car.
Engine hoisted up into position.
Job done.

Before and After
A knock at the door at 07:15 this morning and the man from City Link delivered this.
The manifold has had a ceramic coating on the inside and outside of the pipes and is designed to transmit the exhaust temperature down the exhaust pipe instead of radiating through the walls and heating up the engine bay. This was done by Camcoat and is rated for 1000°C, I am very pleased with it.
Picture before coating process, looking a bit worse for wear.

Exhaust Fitment
A few pictures of the coated manifold and Ashley exhaust system fitted to the car.
This picture also shows my new clear laminated screen with blue tint sun strip. Supplied by “Team Ginger Racing” aka Glyn and Rob. Thanks for ordering and collecting the screen for me chaps.
A few pictures from the rear and underside.
Last picture of competed underside work with prop shaft fitted.

Thanks for the comments.
Hopefully, the car will be running later this year and will be at all the major shows in 2008.
