Rear Parcel Shelf and firewall
Trimmed off the rusty metal from the donor shelf which left the exposed inner section, treated the surface with rust converter and left to sit for 24 hours, and finally sprayed with weld thru primer ready for fitting.

Another piece of the jigsaw complete 78 plug welds and 6 stitch welds later the parcel shelf fitted like a glove.

Next on the hit list to be repaired is the outer scuttle.
then rust treated and painted diamond white underneath.
Trimmed up the outer scuttle and painted with rust converter,,

Removing the old skins exposed over 40 years of water damage and rust!!
The strengthening strut brace across the door also showed signs of corrosion
So has been replaced.

One of the doors only needed a patch across the bottom
The other door required the entire bottom to be replaced - a section was cut in order to reproduce the profile.
To be welded in the door
