    Still having fun.

Really impressed with how the engine is performing and the reliability. Starts on the button and never misses a beat.

Suspension is performing really well, i have just fitted some new superflex polyurethane bushes. It had them fitted already but they were only the cheap ones.

Drift, Ford Escort (Automobile Model), Bangkok (City/Town/Village), Thailand (Country)

Thai driving test? Handling looks spot on to me!

Can't be that many Escorts in Thailand (or Asia for that matter?)
I went to university in Singapore and have done a lot of Asian traveling and certainly never saw one! Did Ford sell them in Asia or are most direct imports?

They were imported from new, but they didnt sell as well as the Japanese stuff back then as they were more expensive, so you don't see that many about.

The car got into the center spread of a magazine called XOD over here last month, not much writing about it, but i was well happy with the spread.

              Yesterday was Nitto Gymkhana...

              Here is the practice run...

                Awesome car.

Mate of mine done a Mk1 with SR20DET a couple years back. Sold it on and is doing a Mk2 at the moment.

I went to my first drift event at the weekend, i was the only retro car there...
It was a good laugh, i took 3 sets of rear tyres expecting to use them all, when in reality i only used maybe half a set. A new set went on, but there must be still 5mm of tred left on them, so that was a nice surprise. But they are old stock tyres and the rubber is a bit hard, so that could be the reason
I couldn't compete with the big boys, i was following 1 guy and there was that much tyre smoke coming from his car i couldn't see a thing, it was a bit scarey going sideways and not being able to see, i slammed the brakes on
My friend got some good pictures though...

                          Some more Fun...

A few pics from last weekend's track day. The Gymkhana group organised bit of fun at the track... We had fun - again

Fitted some brake pads this week and tightened up the open front quarter window as it was closing by itself on the track.

Also need to try and sort out an oil cooler or another way of cooling the oil for the next track day as we saw 115c oil temps.

We were put into classes and i finished 3rd in my class, 4th overall (only a bit of fun) :thumb:
