1972 Ford Escort Mk1 - SR20DET (S14)

Started over 6 months ago.

Initial plans were to fit a Honda S2000 but I couldn't find one and when I did it was too expensive, so I decided on the SR20DET.

I will let the pics do the talking.





































































I want to do some Gymkhana events in it when it's finished.

Did he make the bubbles?

Some of the stuff he fabricates is crazy.

Anyway is looking pretty danm good, will it stay out east?

Air con looks like it had an old Datsun engine to begin with!

Sorry, I don't have any pics of the V Dubs... Only the escort is mine.

The old engine is an old Datsun engine (A14) from the Sunny.

Aircon is mandatory over here, you cannot drive anywhere without it, it's just too hot, and if you wind the windows down you get a mouthful of fumes.

This guy didn't make the bubbles, someone else made them, not to say this guy couldn't have done them.

Bubbles are the way forward with a Mk1 Escort

Top fabrication work . SR20 motor is alot better than those s2000 hairdryers so a good choice .
