made up a new section for the boot floor & i made a new rear spring hanger section



welded on spring hanger


and boot floor repair section


and ground down welds

Just noticed your back panel was fitted with reverse lights similar to the Mexico, just checking if you are aware that these were not fitted as standard fitting to the Sport at the factory!

You're making great progress on this as usual.....always interesting to follow!

Hi, yes I've been getting on with it, just haven't got round to posting anything here for a while .

Anyway, here's a bit of an update, I've welded in a new tank well inner panel..

then made up the outer tank well section then welded in..



I've also made up some inner tub repair sections & welded in,

Another tub repair section I made up

and welded it in


also re-welded bumper mount back on


cleaned up & primed.

Hi all, bit of an update on the sport project. Cut out the spare wheel well, it was full of rust & thick with filler
Here's a few pics,

Then I welded in some new wheel well panels.





Then welded in the rear wheel tub repair sections I made up, ground down welds & a coat of primer.
