Looks nice that mate keep at it, i have one bit of constructive criticism tho..... If Your not planning on blasting the car best to use etch primer rather than zinc primer as the zinc doesnt get a good hold of the steel, u may notice once its dry you can rub it off with your fingers, however if you are planning on blasting it take no notice of what ive just wrote

Cheers! yeah i plan on getting the shell soda/media blasted soon when i can find someone over here to do it, just using the zinc primer on it to keep the surface rust off it for now.
cut out all the rotten steel, cleaned up the solid areas that had surface rust & gave that a coat of some rust killer then gave it all a coat of weld-thru primer
made up a repair plate for underneath the box section clamped & welded it in
then made up a strengthener repair plate out of thicker steel, clamped & welded in
cleaned up & a coat of weld-thru primer
then made a repair section to go on top, took a lot of fiddling around with it to get it to fit properly
all clamped on & ready to weld..
then smoothed down welds & given a coat of primer
