Not done much to the sport lately as I've been busy at work during the week & going to car shows on weekends, but today i managed to do a bit as weather has been bad. Started dismantling rear brakes, & removed rear shocks

removed the bootlid, also found a few holes in the drivers side rear arch tub that will need sorting out



Hope to get stuck into it a bit more on weekends now & during the winter.

Been getting a bit more done on the sport, got both doors off, took plenty of heat, wd40 & hammering to get the hinge pins out but got there in the end!




bit of filler & rust in the A-posts that needs getting rid of.

Made a start getting the front wings off, wanted to save these & re-use them as they're in good condition. They've been brazed on so had a go cutting them off,


had to cut into front panel to save the wing but i've got a new front panel to go on,

drivers side wing is off, wing rail rusty, A post will need work, rust under strut tops. Got a load of underseal to get off so i can see what else needs doing...

and passenger side wing off, much the same this side, got both wings off without damage so can re-use them . bottom of A post rough on this side..
