**** me all the hard work we did seems to have been taken apart. To be fair some of that welding was from yonks ago when the car has the original RHD conversion etc.

As Richie says I never meant the car to be a concours car, it was built to be used and tracked.

Patches on the rear 1/4 as it was rotten when I took the rear X-pack arches off, and lets face it it was bever gonna be seen with the kit back on it.

Roll cage was my crap welding, I ran out of gas at the time but hey ho! Still can't be all that bad I see your still using the rear dolly I made :-)

But even tho its a little sad looking at these pics @ least Mike has a big budget to return this rare X-pack to its former glory.

Good luck guy's, can't wait to see it in paint.

PS never noticed any damage to rear chassis legs!

Must seem a shame at what were doing,,,but i hope you can see that its just not what the new owner is trying to do,he wants it to look unwelded if possable.
And it will make a rough shell,,good again.

That was suggested as it's original colour. It was Bronze when it came to UK in 1986 (for about 5 minutes) then someone saw sense and painted it black again. BLACK IT WILL BE!

                  Hi,
Yes the roof is good,as is the rear shock crossmember area and inner 1/4s/parcel shelf.
We'll be keeping as much of the orignal rs shell as we can!!
