That mex is perfection are the gritting lorries the ones that put the salt on your roads?
Yes mate there the ones that seem to make our cars rot away to nothing in about 3 weeks of gritting lol. So much for global warning!
Must ad that your Mex is the dogs danglers kas
Wow, just read through this whole resto thread and wow again. I hope my Mex turns out half as good as this, top job. Wrap her up n keep her nice n cosy for winter
sigpicSanity is the playground for the unimaginative
So I put my tax disc in the window and decided to have a 30 mile jaunt. Its been cracking weather here today and sometimes its nice to have a ride out in something without the distraction of a radio and just enjoy the drive.
.
I have done a little work on the underbonnet area just addressing a couple of minor items..Ready for the lakes now.
I fitted the final part to the Mexico today. Its came new from Cully and thought it just finishes it off nicely.
I think I have done about 10 miles since I taxed it..so decided with the nice weather to give the old girl a run out and pick Joe up from school.
I have downloaded a radio app to my phone and bought a little battery powered speaker from Tesco and plonked it on top of the dash were the original speaker would be fitted.
I have been driving the 911 recently and have kind of neglected the Mex but I have really enjoyed it today.
Just the little things like having the windows wound down when its hot and just the attention you get and the thumbs up from passers by..i love it.
My favourite bit was driving along this afternoon arm out of the window and silver lady playing on radio 2..proper took me back....Just perfect!
