cracking job on the air filter....mmmmmmmm on the trim, i like the idea and must give it ago myself....its the simple things that people like to hear about and thats defo one of them....got any before painted trim pics as to compare???

Looks a great car, very nice original find too!
I certainly enjoyed the rebuild of mine, enough to do a mk2 XR2 which is now my daily driver until my Fiat coupe is also done and returned to the road.
Know what you mean about making them too clean to use but it just happens when you got this far doesnt it, have been using the XR2 and although cleans up ok it doesnt look as new under the wings as it did (suspension parts starting to look in need of re-doing) couldnt imagine using the RS in winter with the salt.
Still spring just around the corner
Will be a cracking Mex for sure, looking forward to seeing it!
