Last night i decided i would have a go at renovating the rear parcel shelf and rear quarter panels. They had started to fray on the edges so i did some little repairs with plastic bumper filler. In the past i have used celly satin on these sort of trim pieces but what i did find was that if they was a broken edge or if it was rubbed through to the board underneath then the celly paint would sometimes make it lift on the edges.
I have heard good things about Halfords vinyl trim paint so i thought i would give it a try.Its not cheap at £9.99 for a small tin and i used two tins, but i am really pleased with how they look. They are not over the top shiny and have a nice natural look and feel to them.Although you can't see in the pics the natural texture has not been hidden at all.
In fact thinking about it i might try this paint when i revisit that dodgy looking bulkhead pad.
