got the lip for for holding the infill to the kit welded and sealed on the passenger side
also got the nose cone ends bonded to the cone and fitted rive nuts so it can be fitted and removed from the car (hate painting them with the nose cone on)
front panel sealed and primed
first coat of filler on the rear arch
hopefully get the drivers side into primer tomorrow

Don't need to paint the back of the kit just going to waxoil round the joint after it is painted once the filler strips from the new lips to the kit are fitted just going to underseal whats left. The arch lips are handy on the rear ones even more than the front but are bloody dear at £55 for 4 but still better than having to make them

its a process they use in rallying grp 2-4 under the front where the metal from the front floor pan and under the wing to chassis area the metal comes in at a angle like 2 triangles joined together and formed and welded to seal everything off , but it is very strong and holds everything together in place .
