    got the top of the bulkhead sorted will get under the bonnet hinge done when the inner wing comes back of






    got the other inner wing on and front crossmember just need to sort the bulkhead on the n/s once done will fit the rest of the panels line it all up then remove clean up etc and finally weld it all in place

        got some more done today

        got most of the front on and lined up just selfdrill screwed on for now but will come of and go back on in the same place











        had a problem with the gap at the nose cone so fitted my own one and it's the same





        had the same problem on my last car as well measured the wing and it is 6mm longer to the fold for the nose cone so will have to unstich it and re fold it

        thats for next week

          excellant andy top notch work.did you get a new lower rad panel and did you make the rad cut out yourself because i notced it was botched before

            ye got a new front crossmember for it just a standard one but have the templates for the cut out some dodgey welding on it most of the repairs come of with a pull from a pair of vice grips, the n/s centre chassie section was not even welded to the new floor pan!!!!!!!

                got the wing unstiched tonight and refolded in the right place then welded back together now the gap is the same everthing can come back off and get cleaned zinc primed and then welded

                  does'nt take long when you are fitting whole new panels just takes ages when you have to make templates and cut out patches of rust and weld them in again

                          got a bit more done last week

                          got the wings etc back off and repaired the bulkhead under the bonnet hinge



                          and got the inner wing tacked on won't weld fully till it's all checked again



                          n/s bulkhead repair just got the kick panel to do when I do the inner sill (pulled the patches off with a pair of vice grips)



                          also got the top plate and support welded on the standard inner wing

                                got some more done over the last 2 days

                                all the unwanted holes in the bootlid 23 in total





                                sorted the strenghners at the bottom of the turrets as they had a bit missing






                                started the patch for the bulkhead just got it to weld on once the inner bit is repaired



                                sitting in place



                                Paddys also got the roof back to the metal and primed the doors and boot are done to but forgot to get photos of them
