    I don't know how anyone has the gaul to criticise what you are doing here. What a fantastic project You obviously have tremendous vision - not to mention fanatical dedication ! Bloody good on you matey, can't wait to see it finished and I hope it out-handles the arse off your critics

              thats a ****ing mental job man....some amount of welding and thought gone into that....i say fair ****s man....great to see something completly different and pushing the boundries....and when its all done ya can stand back and say i built that and enjoy it....one to watch....just hope it handles well for you as those compacts were not very good ....kep up the good work and keep them pics coming

                  yup the compacts handle like crap, but then so does a mk1 escort but once its all built, it can be tweeked till it behaves its self in the corners. Worst handling compacts are when people put silly wheels on them, and super stiff suspension.

                    Job I've been putting off and putting off, but I decided it just had to be done so I can sort the dash area out
                    I never even put a though into the wipers when I was putting the bulk head together...so I started buy hacking out a recess where the motor roughly sits





                    Bm wiper motor is 1.5 inches too short, and also the spindle holes are bigger so had to attack with the round file.













                    It all fits now, I just have to finish boxing up the tray it sits in.

                          mate, you is crazy!, fair play to ya, mk1 looks and things like a working heater, nice seats and the reliability of a bmw, this im now watching with bated breath, please keep the pics coming and keep up the great work you have done so far, p.s, what are the plans for paint, color ect?

                            Nice seats? that will have to be seen, big tunnel, narrow car isnt giving me much options...
