cheers! I'm really pleased how the paintwork has turned out. It does have a few small imperfections here & there but i can live with that as it won't be a concours car & will be driven regularly. Cant wait to get it back on the road!

Hi, think the steels are 7" but not sure, i've only got 2 of them & they're not banded ones so not sure what they're off.. yes this escort has always had compression struts as its an early 68 car, they were only fitted to 1100 & 1300 escorts for the 1st 6 months of production,
                  cheers, Stu

                    • another update. Had a nightmare trying to sort out the wiring loom, old one had been chopped about & had scotchlocks added over the years, I managed to pick up a couple of secondhand early looms off ebay & make a decent one out of them all, soldered, cleaned them up & new tape on them & ready to fit.

Also managed to get a NOS early type fuse box.
