cheers! I'm really pleased how the paintwork has turned out. It does have a few small imperfections here & there but i can live with that as it won't be a concours car & will be driven regularly. Cant wait to get it back on the road!Originally posted by mike77cos View PostLooking great

Hi, think the steels are 7" but not sure, i've only got 2 of them & they're not banded ones so not sure what they're off.. yes this escort has always had compression struts as its an early 68 car, they were only fitted to 1100 & 1300 escorts for the 1st 6 months of production,Originally posted by Aaron P. another update. Had a nightmare trying to sort out the wiring loom, old one had been chopped about & had scotchlocks added over the years, I managed to pick up a couple of secondhand early looms off ebay & make a decent one out of them all, soldered, cleaned them up & new tape on them & ready to fit.

Also managed to get a NOS early type fuse box.
