inspired by the team ospreys i went back to the ole car yesterday and gave a full days attention to the Electrics,(my weakest point with cars, other than not drilling square........ )
All wiring has now been fixed / added / taped / clipped into place and it was time to connect the battery. Bearing in mind the large amount of alterations and the new switch panel i was pretty apprehensive however battery connected, cut out switch "switched" on and hey ho most things worked !!
fuel pumps (although new) needed a 'tap' to get them going, no dash lights (but then realised i hadnt connected them in to the dash board - now done and ok) and everything tickety boo. Well not quite, the heater is not 'blowing' on either speed which is dissapointing as it is a bugger to take out but i will leave it there for a while and maybe have a look another time.
possibly Gaz, depends what niggles arise, if i have too many i might push it in a lake
Im expecting some minor problems, therefore if i did it would be on a trailer to cumbria (maybe me n frosty can have a trailer bufty competition, lol)
