The deadlines been set, 28th feburary 2010, at this date the car must be driving on the road again, Ive splashed out and bought a new welder and mask, jack and axle stands and Ive got 4 days booked off work which, along with time off from college, will give me 2 weeks of solid working where I wont be touching any one elses car and just focusing on gettting "Sheila" back on the road.

Bit more work done, and I can say that the new welder was well and truthfully worth the £££ it cost heres my progress from monday:

Thats the kick panel and floor finished, its about 1/2 way there for this years work, next year is full new inner wing tops but for this year the rear drivers arch needs done and the passengers kick panel and drip rail needs fitted and shes done roll on the petrol guzzeling

are you going to make electricity weldings?

because everyones telling me that they use a gas called argon to make their weldings.

how much did it cost you.?

Its a mig welder, most common welder around it uses argosheild light gas from BOC, cost me £470 + 50 for the auto darkening mask and then another £70 for the bottle of gas.

they look good, but if you can get an old rear bumper, you can use the ends of the rear bumper, to make the esds of the quarter bumpers looks like genuine ones.

                  car lokos good,

ok thnks.. at first i misunderstood the photo..

in greece we call this welder argon because of the name of the gas it uses

and here it costs the double money..

                      thnks again and good luck
