Yes they are a bit close, but because holes had already been drilled prior to us getting the car and not being in the right place to fit the brackets, we've had to alter the location slightly. It wasnt possible to adapt the brackets with the holes either.

Well impressed today Raver, the spots are fantastic value. Look gorgeous and it sounds soooo sweet with the carbs.

Good job petrol is so cheap, you won't really notice any difference

It's looking quite a beast Mr Raver.....nice to get some of these jobs done at last. The diff and carbs will transform the car....can't wait to here the growler.

Bought some new throttle cables and webcon mesh trumpet covers. Dale has installed a temporary breather system (think I will ultimately need an alloy catch tank) which will see me through the lakes.

Just booked the car in to a carb specialist for early next week. They will balance and tune carbs and hopefully get it all running ok.

Still need to do a few cosmetic touch-ups....

Paint rear drum covers, touch up chip(s) on bottom of doors, give the inside of the car a valet, fit p21 radio, paint cam pulley, paint and fit camcover and then............

                            Drive the car
                            Regards - Dave
