    Here we go again.....
Had a call from Paul who has at last found some free time to go for the final push. All of the "fiddly bits" underneath now done and the shell is off the jig.

    Work left to do:
    Rear valance
Replace rear parcel shelf section (6" speaker holes!)
Spot weld all replaced panels as original

Spotwelder arriving from HSS Hire today to blat the shell. Hoping the next week will see the shell ready to come back to Dorset!

Once again, thanks for the encouragement, chaps. Paul was working darn sarf this week and popped in today for a natter. He talks about the work like its no particular bother at all - I just know it would have been too big a job for me so I'm sooooo glad its in his hands. He says he has a couple of days next week to spend on all the fiddly bits that needs doing on her bottom
After that, it will be the spot welder to join all the flappy bits together again - the shell could be back in the Oldbloke's garage very soon!

Mr BadNews: your gloating gets on my t*ts
Well - a third of my shell is now Aussie...but I didn't have to worry about scary microbes jumping out and assaulting MY personal bits I think you should build a log cabin on your ranch and offer all us guys free holidays

Graham: Can't Xpack it now 'cos I have to do justice to Mr Andrew's nosecone
Besides - wouldn't want to show yours up

    ANOTHER UPDATE FROM PAUL:
There's hardly a single inch of bodywork that doesn't need replacing Here we go with the spare wheel well.

The offside spring hanger was looking rough as well......

But once again Paul pulls it off.............

    Yes, very funny
Actually - that decision was on the cards right up until the day he started it, but was rejected for two reasons:
    1. I couldn't bear seeing those front wings being cut into - they were the best panels on the whole car
    2.Them X-pack arches wouldn't last 5 minutes in Tesco's car park
