Well, I actually found some time to escape into the garage to spend a little quality time with my pride and joy.
Managed to get a little primer on the bits I had already stripped

Turned my attention to the wing first.

Came up not too bad. There are some ingrained rust spots that will need closer attention with a spot blaster before primer.

Just fancied doing the rear wing next.

Really pleased with the metalwork underneath here - just a spot of filler to be removed.

So nice to see a bit more progress at last - don't know when the next opportunity will arise but definately getting the "urge" to crack on

Well, here we are 6 months on. The poor old girl has been stored outside and, unfortunately, before I got the chance to get some primer on it. So the bare metal looks kind of sad.

So I spent today with a new wire brush and things are looking a bit better now.

I guess I'll need the shot blaster gun to get behind here...

Isn't it amazing how you can set aside a whole weekend to get out in the garage - and then a load of cr*p stuff comes along to stop you doing it
Now I'm away next weekend -so that's another week gone
Anyway, I grabbed a couple of hours and this is the story so far....

I applaud you. I really look forward to seeing the transformation of your vehicle.

Well, I can't believe my last post was September. Loads has happened to me since then but not much to the poor old RS
It came back home again late October (courtesy of Kev - thanks again, mate)
