Continued cutting, time for the sill to come off, the back end of the sill goes under the rear quarter near the bottom of the door so it also means removing the bottom of the rear quarter (it had a hole in it anyway), it also goes under and behind both the A post and B post, plenty of pics and measurements then grinder time !!

With most of the outer sill off I was very pleased with the condition of the inner sill/floorpan, the flanges were A1

Front end where sill passes under A post and meets side bulkhead and inner tub (new tub to be fitted)

Back end, rear quarter cut away and also bottom of B post

This is how it should all go back together , these are just laid on to give you the idea

Sill spotted on first, then bottom of B post

Then sill closing panel at rear

    Then bottom of rear 1/4

    Simples

That was my original plan but I keep toying with the red used on the works cars which was British Standards Signal Red and Minilites the same colour as Gerards on STW

Still playing with the panels, sorting out the gaps, tried on the front wing, have a feeling I am trying to achieve a tightness of gap that the factory never did, anyway aiming for a nice even gap around the door. The wing has to come back off to replace the front inner tub.
            cheers, Paul

Looks like it's gonna be great.
Have to say, the body work looks very complex, I bet a major rebuild would be verrrry difficult

Do you want to do my RSi Paul. It needs a lot of welding........but I like what you do and the attention to detail.

Only thing it already booked in
