Looks like it's resting on a tin of paint at the back there, tell me that's not true!?!

Looking fantastic there though, can't wait to be at this stage.

Time to get her down off the spit,
made up this dolly which can be used as moving axle stands afterwards. can be raised over 700 mm.
adjustable and removable legs for easy storage. A pin goes through the rear legs and the jacking hole in the chassis.

few scary moments removing the spit without any damage

    and on to the dolly

Take your time Robert and enjoy putting it together and getting it right.

Your doing a great job and she's looking lovely.

Thanks guys, I'm nearly afraid to touch it now in case I scratch it.
I need more space, I'd love to be able to open both doors wide and walk around it. One of the many disadvantages of living in Dublin i suppose
anyway I'll do the pipework underneath first and then get it down off the spit.

    Robert

Brought the shell home from the paint shop yesterday.
the pictures dont really do it justice. The paintwork, shut lines, gaps etc all perfect. Thanks John
