    • Escort Quarter/Rear Bumpers all fitted, pig of a job to get them to sit straight still not perfect but don't think they were on the escorts .... not sure if its a bit too anal but i used stainless carriage bolts and then made up some rs stickers to put on them so they dont look too shiny, prob do the same on the rear bumper too, need to get some silver indicator bulbs so you wont see any orange through the clear lenses, i've sprayed satin black on all the indicator housings before fitting to make them look newish...

had to fit the modified escort spot light brackets first before the bumpers went on though as there was no room to bolt them in after, they were the quick release ones but theres no chance of getting these off quickly!!! 7 bolts all in all and 4 of them are nyloc'd uses domed allen head stainless bolts...

rear bumper was a bit easier to fit just had to notch out the bumper where the boot springs come through...

gonna fit the rear window this week and fit the rear lights, got a mate coming up this week to change the cambelt and water pump on the 2 litre zetec engine i got so once thats done i can fit that to get it out the way...

            • I might make the plate a little larger on the front, got to change the font as i dont like the new style on a classic, the rear im gonna stick straight on to the boot, no perspex too save weight!!

                          • Car is coming on now Chris . Its going to look the muts nuts when you get all your stuff on it. Top work mate the build as been awesome and one of the best threads I have ever followed. I would say that though as I love the old Fiesta.

                            • Loads of photos below.

Got my rear beam all sorted got a mate whos a welder to cut of the stub axles flush then round of the original mounting plate so it was smooth with the beam, he got some plates cut on a flow jet so the focus rear stubbys will bolt straight on, he's weded them on then i had the job of getting the beam all smoothed and primered ready for anice thick coat of 2pack black its not perfect as theres some original welding splatter, while i had the gun out i painted the trailing arms, panhard rod, front lower strut brace and engine cradles, got all teh bushes fitted on them....

loosely fitted the rear beam with the rear shockers, just awaiting all the £75 quids worth of zinc 12.9 cap head bolts to arrive so i can bolt it all together (which have got lost in the post only part im missing from the rear is a bert rear strut brace which can wait til next month when ive the funds....

once the rear is bolted on i need to clean up the rear focus hubs and calipers so i can fit them and then fit the rear wheels
after the rear is back on wheels i can get the 2 litre zetec all bolted in i'm just missing a clutch at the minute.....
