OK ! its boddy work time and what a day today !! 70 in the shade ! got the bonnet and boot started ! pics attached and also got the scuttle pannel finished and put a coat of zinc primer on it ! that was a nightmare to strip ! all them little grooves have taken there toll on me fingers ! its when you get in the bath later and all them little cuts hit the water ! pain .

the bonnet was a bastard ! got to say it and its done my head right in ! all the cut outs round the edge had surface rust on the inside and it was so hard getting into all the nooks ! it rates as one of the worst jobs ive done on the car so far ! it would have broken a weaker man

couldnt work out why the bonnet has all the cut outs round the edge ? till the penny dropped !! its so they could get in with the spot welder ! to join the top to the bottom ! but didnt they realise this would trap rain water coming through the engine bay ? bad design

Doors !

got stuck into the drivers door today ! striped it right back and its sound !! no filler etc . Very happy with the bottom of the door also ! no holes and just a bit of surface rust . At least somethings gone right
