I've just registered on this site and what a fantastic read this is. CC keep those pic's coming. My Mex' is in similar condition and could do with new inner wings, bulkhead is not so bad though, I don't think!!!!!!!

ix mk 1 twincam (genuine)
1x rs1600 (no engine but genuine car)
1x mk 2 gp4 replica build
between all of them they dont have 1/10th of the rust your project car does.
