        • Bit more of an update, been a bit busy in tha garage lately, and finally its coming together..

          Welded in engine x-member chassis tubes;

          Turned car around so I could work in the boot;

          Boot area prepped, I will let the bodyshop finish it off...

          Rear 1/4 now in primer;

          Roll cage is finally sprayed and bolted in (loosely)

          Dash panel rubber down, forgot to remove "Custom" sticker tho!!

          Doors back on..

          ..and final front view..

          Last night I screwed in the nosecone, and fitted the lower "X" spoiler.

          Had enough of rubbing down over the last month or so, glad its almost finished.

          Next jobs are cut bonnet holes for taps, and mark and drill holes for fuel tank, and a few little jobs else where.

                      • Another update, this time I have been trial fitting the 69 litre tank and Series X bonnet locks;

                        I had to modify my tank straps as mine came with 2 straps that had been welded, so I had to cut and shut to make 4 straps that fit, and still make tham look original!

                        And trial fitted in position.

                        Next, I had to cut the holes for the Series X bonnet locks... eek

                        The hole saw I bought from an engineering company made short work of cutting the hole.

                        A few more little jobs to do soon.....
