Christ Paul, that is a bit over the top. I'm sure I never paid that for the 4x4 Cosworth, I'm sure I paid around £300 via the RSOC scheme for my old 2wd RS2000 Mk5, that was based on the 25k miles I do a year.

i have worked it out now its the mexico that got stolen of me thats making it high... ...so not only have i lost the mexico but i am now paying for it in insurance.

us younguns get quoted £5k on 1.1 fiestas

i whittled it down to £2600 a year......and paid it

well i got the insurance quote today and they want £871...

for 3000 mile a year.....i told them to ****off

so i am NOT buying it now

i only wanted a car to drive to the shows and back but not at that price.

I ONLY use to insure mine 3rd party, £371...
also does'nt help it being a group 18..
higher than a turbo which is group 16... !
