At last YUE Rises again. New head on,New cam in,Air filters on,New plates on (Mike youngs),New rear quarter cards in, Exhaust fitted correctly

Using a standard pulley till Friday when John Wilcox sets it up with the vernier. After all the fretting and worrying about starting with the new head and cam, Fired first time Ran at 2500-3000 revs for about 1/2 hour with no problems. Followers sound a little noisy as I set them slightly loose. Will have this sorted on Friday as well. Filled with crappy 20/50 for the run in. Flushed, drained then in went the good stuff with a new Ford Filter. (Duckhams Q 20/50).
Took the car for a little run, Pulls ok but can tell it needs a good set up. VERY noisy but in a good way Altogether happy at last.

Did wash it afterwards as I was disgusted with how dirty it was....he he.

A tip for the rolling road session

fit a pair of spare rear tyres (not cheap crap though) instead of your Yoko's

Rolling road can be a bit harsh on tyres

They were on the car for a few months ,and did a track day with them they are not worn but not brand new , they are some type of yoko but not sure which ones , not mega expensive .
