I have had the pleasure of seeing one of these shells in the flesh, as will a few on this site have who live across the pond.

I think what they have done is a very good job , a lot of time has gone into them to get them good , obviously its a shell and will require to be sealed and made good before paint is applied to the service part but iwould purchase one no problem and we have been crying out for this for a very long time and now its here .
Cant put the photo up of them as my files are too big .

Maybe this is why this thread is being perceived as negative

The supplier have openly invested time/money in providing replacement panels to people that want to repair or reshell their tired or knackered mk2 escort. I for one think its great and if i was to build another racing car i would seriously consider purchasing a shell.
From what i have read on more than 1 thread very similar repeating questions were asked and it became tiresome with no clear direction as to the real purpose of the questioning (i spoke to another member privately and they were of the same opinion).
Perhaps the author of this post should gather all their burning questions and email the supplier, they can then post the unedited response here as i'm sure that would make interesting reading
