I'd use one, either to rebuild a shagged rotbox or build one from scratch.

I notice that there are a lot of battered/rusty/generally rubbish LHD heaps on Ebay for the usual insane prices - owners panic selling whilst they're still worth something? When something that is complete junk that wants shredding (rusty 4 door 1100L and that kind of nonsense) is 'worth' £3000, a brand new shell for a sensible four figure sum has to be a winner. Finally the aforementioned scrap can be melted down and made into something useful!

if your own shell is that far gone that u need to spend hours of labour and alot of money on separate reproduction panels, then why not buy a completed shell?! yes its not a ford one but then neither are the panels u can get from various places.
in a perfect world, ford would do them, but they dont so these are an alternative if thats what u want to spend ur money on.

quality ! - i just hope mr davis follows the other idiots over to rear engined stuff - the bright lads went to opels years ago - some of us just got an escort again to remind our selfs about how thick some people are.

I've had Anglia's, Mk 1 and 2 Cortina's and Mk 1 and 2 Escorts for road and rallying and approaching 70, I decided that if I didn't try a Porsche now, I never would.

How do you think the guy who took the time and more importantly the money is going to feel and why should anyone else ever decide to try to remake anything

Maybe you should arrange a visit to N.Ireland to go and see the guy who has sorted out these shells, panels etc and discuss what your worries are regarding their use

As for any future owners passing them off as "genuine" then Caveat Emptor is rather a good saying to bear in mind
