i can't help but think that the current committee's problems have been of their own making.
the resiginations may be a good step for the club as it will put an end to the current disputes. i still think there should have been at least one other resigination but it doesn't appear to be forth coming.
here's hoping for a positive agm.

We had a situation at a local sports club where certain members of the committe were claiming ther beer as an expence at away games and the club members got sick of it so commenced with a vote of no confidence
A letter of no confidence in the committe was drafted by a member which proposed a vote of not confidence in the committe, this was seconded by another club member and signed by both parties
The club were obliged to call and "extrodanary general meeting "and the proposal was put forword
Members were provided with a voteing slip and absent members were allowed to provide a postal vote
Votes were counted and the committe were fired
Not suggesting in any way the RSOC are doing any thing simmilar but by the general opinion of posts on this thread members are not happy with the presant committe and are looking for a change
Bottom line is any club is owed by the members and not a few on the top table. A committe is formed to run with members wishes and not ther own agenda.sigpic
