Big mistake in a letter about Brian Hart and the BDA in the new issue of CLASSIC & SPORTSCAR. The letter writer seems to think that it was Stuart Turner who 'tripped over' a BDA engine in Hart's workshop, thus starting a link which went on for years. In fact, the 'tripping up' event took place years later, when Peter Ashcroft visited Hart's workshops, to encounter the very first alloy-blocked BDA.
It was I, in fact, who first introduced Turner to Cosworth's Duckworth, at my home in 1969, when the prototype BDA engine was first discussed.

Absolutely - I'm as fallible as the next man. In this case, I just didn't want the wrong story to start circulating. After all, if someone had bought the magazine on 1 April, they might have believed it ....

Is there anyone out there that can challenge Graham Robson on overall knowledge of RS's & works cars? I doubt it.

No one is perfect, everyone makes mistakes, ....just that some people are able to accept it and move on. While others just keep on about pointing the mistakes out.
