As some of you know I've recently bought a Mk2 4 door and i'm going to use ut as my daily runner.
As we all know the locks can be opened with a paper clip!!
So... I need a bit of security on it.
An alarm would be a start i know, but what after that?
Nothing electrical as the engine is just too simple and anyone with half a brain would be able to get round an immoboliser in 2mins!
    I'm thinking more mechanical.
Anyone got any security mods on their cars they want to share?
If you dont want to post on the open forum please PM me, i'd appreciate some ideas.
    Cheers

Got a brake pedal lock on my new white RS. Think its a 90's fitted thing. And its possible to fit cubb locks into the door handles

Disclok Deffo. FIA cut out maybe and carry the switch around with you. Alarm is a waste of time really as is an immobiliser as the electrics are so easy to get around.

disklok's are pretty shite on a mk 2

Wiring - erm......well alarm will make a noise - immboliser will what ?

                      3 wires has a mk2 started....LOL.....if that

Personally - fuel is best option....as in tap near the tank.....

Noth sure otherwise - line of sight maybe....

A brake line lock is a good way of stopping people from moving it.

Simply cut flexi hoses - line lock inoperative !

btw : - dont turn this into a "how to pinch a MKII" thread

We have enough trouble keeping hold of MKII's as it is !!
