Nice one Martin, how much does that bit of kit cost, is it 3 phase supply?

No it's single phase 240v 16A so you need a separate spur and the blue plug and socket as shown in the picture.

      Cost was £995 plus Vat

Why do you have to lift your car up? Its not as if you know how to fix one ??

Thats a neat one Martin. Been thinking about one of these. Havent room for a 2 post lift.
Is it light enough to slide under a car from the side or wuold you have to drive over it? Also does it feel steady when raised?

It weights 300kg but the car drives over it so I leave it in position. It can be moved with 2 people if you want to slide it in from the side.

It is designed to lift 2700kg and is totally solid and sturdy when raised. There are safety mechanisms to stop it dropping down even if the oil pressure was lost.

It can go upto 1.5m high giving plenty of space to work on the car.
                    Cheers

So I can take all 4 wheels off and removed the arch liners to clear out any dirt and debris that collects in there. Also so I can grease all the brake unions and check the rubber brake lines without having to lie on my back with unstable axle stands being the only thing between me and the car falling.

                      Does that answer your question
                      Cheers

Why? We did 1500 miles last year with no issues except a puncture. That was 4 20+ year old cars and we weren't hanging around on the Autobahns
                          Cheers
