        Correct

It locks in and doesn't release unless you are pressing the down button on the control box.
        Cheers

Your not ****ing invited anyway so zip it, you seem to take great pleasure in criticising most threads, how about starting one yourself and we'll return the favour.

            Does that answer your question
Sort of, a trolley jack and decent stands are safe enuff tho. Id worry the rollers are gonna kill your tiled floor.

Generally on a Porsche, the safest place for the axle stands is the jacking points which can make things tricky to make it totally secure.

I am very impressed with that setup Martin, your car and garage look fantastic!

What is height at the lowest position? as I am thinking of getting one of these lifts for the turbo, but it does sit very low.

                and Ruddy!..

nice if you got that t sort of money, a 16 amp supply that needs covering by an rcd in your garage, you dont need to work under the car on stands use ramps about 30 quid,a lot less cash to just clean under the car. looks like you could get good height but stuffed if you need the prop or box out,

                          Cheers Adrian

The clearance is just over 10cm which is fine for my 964 and 944 but not sure if your Turbo will make that??

They suggest using wooden planks on each side of the ramp to raise your car up a few cm before you drive it on if your clearance is very low.
                          Cheers

It's not for cleaning under the car, it allows me to remove all the wheels, inner wheel arch liners etc. to get at the brakes etc. without having to jack up each corner separately.

I'm not questioning the cost, I never said it was cheap I only put the pictures up to show what is available and that it does work for those that may be interested. If you want to use £30 ramps then like me that is your choice
                            Cheers

surely this is by far the cheapest and most secure method of leaving a car in the air to "change" wheels
