Hi, I have an agreed valuation on my RS with my insurance company but have seen a couple of threads on here re agreed values.
Am I right in saying they are almost worthless unless the valuation is done by the RSOC? I am not an RSOC member at the moment but if the above is correct then looks like I will have to join.
My next question, I believe the valuation can only be done by the registrar. The Mk2 RS2000 registrar is, I think Martin who lives 250 miles from me. I don't get to any shows up north so is there a southern registrar who could do a valuation?
Are there any other ways to get a valuation that is acceptable to insurance companies so I don't get a nasty shock if the worst ever happened? Any advise would be gladly received.
Thanks
Phil.
