I use the lifetime licenced ones they cost a bit but if you're keeping the car it's worth it
I have a magnetic one that you charge and put a sim card in. You text it to set it up, can monitor live on the web when it moves. Useful to put on a car if you're going out for the day

Oh s**t I'm giving away security info. It's ok though because I've also rigged up a special aids filled syringe thing under my car seats
