Hello all,I went to the classic car show on saturday at the Nec,I was suprised at the standard of the cars on show, there was some belters.one thing i did notice was the lack of Mk2 escorts,i only saw 3,one on the old skool ford stand and the other was a red RS2000 on an upholstry stand, and Barry Lee`s hot rod circuit racer,it was nice to see Frostys RS2000 in the flesh so to speak,I personnally thought that the RSOC would have had some more cars on there stand instead of the plastic fantastics that were there. The AVO club had a good selection of models. There also was a few MK1`s for sale,a yellow and orange RS2000 springs to mind.It was quite an eye opener to see a lot of rare cars on display, but it did cross my mind after seeing the complete disrespect from some of the visitors to the show,no wonder some of the more luxurious classic car stands were cordoned off with no visitors allowed on them, maybe thats why some cars stayed away.

As an ex RS owner who defected to the other side, I enjoyed looking at the Escorts very much. That yellow Mk1 RS2000 was my choice.
My car was on display on the Sunbeam Lotus owners club stand so I never got enough time to properly look round and missed loads, including the RS200 that I only spotted when we packing up last night
