I personally think they should be locked as the amount of crap comments :i.e if only i could win the lottery,its worth a lot more,its mint (when its clearly not)well worth the money etc etc.now a certain car that was for sale recently(a beautifull car too)and the owner put his price only for people to say it was worth 20 grand more if i had the asking price and thought thats for me i would have been a bit peeved off.it works both ways some say its well worth the money when clearly its not.what do you all think

Totally agree with you on this one,no-one likes to see anyone ripped off,but I personnally have got to the stage that I wouldn`t sell my car on this forum because of all the flack and crap that can go with it,there seems at times there is character assassinations aimed towards the vendors,like i said at the beginning no-one likes to be ripped off,but its upto the person buying the car to make up there own mind.Regards Gixer1000.

The RS 1800 I have put for sale for my uncle as he is not really into the Internet , was in good faith to find a buyer , put some use it as a chance to have a rant buy the car or shut up I did pm custom a week ago to remove the add but he did not get back to me and that was after giving £25 to the running of the site all we wanted to do was try and give you guys ( the real escort fans the 1st chance ) it may land up on eBay now ?? i also noticed it was Free to advertise.

Maybe if people did not want anybody to comment on them or there car or take all the flack that goes with a forum like this

On any public forum you get coments good,bad positive and negative IMO you take a chance.if your one of the incrowd people are all over it with super positive coments lol.most are over priced let's be honest then most of us moan about eBay parts prices.if the seller wants the thread locked I think if they pm'd Dave he would probably do it for said person if asked nicely.lol at the 40 k motor not are the ad was as clear as it should/ could of been from what I hear.anyone wants top money for there cars hit the bayand accept some messers

Absolutely!!...If you are seriously interested in a car then go look at in person and ask the opinion,in private, about the provenace of the car with the knowledgable people that abound.Their are not a lot of cars about that are not known and any history is easy to gain.
Good,proper cars will sell easily at a fair price if everything is in order..
