  • Cars for sale threads locked or not

I personally think they should be locked as the amount of crap comments :i.e if only i could win the lottery, its worth a lot more, its mint (when its clearly not)well worth the money etc etc.now a certain car that was for sale recently(a beautifull car too)and the owner put his price only for people to say it was worth 20 grand more if i had the asking price and thought thats for me i would have been a bit peeved off.it works both ways some say its well worth the money when clearly its not.what do you all think

I agree BJ, so many times people comment that a cars mint etc but all they have ever seen is a photo on a forum, comment on a car after you've crawled in it and under it, we know all shiney Escorts aint mint, turds can be polished.

The £40k car, the seller set his price and if owners of similar cars want to think they are all worth £20k more then fair enough but it stood long enough at Heaves with £40k in the window and there wasn't a que forming to buy it, dunno if it sold.

Yeah, imo lock for sale threads.

                              Cheers, son
