I personally think they should be locked as the amount of crap comments :i.e if only i could win the lottery,its worth a lot more,its mint (when its clearly not)well worth the money etc etc.now a certain car that was for sale recently(a beautifull car too)and the owner put his price only for people to say it was worth 20 grand more if i had the asking price and thought thats for me i would have been a bit peeved off.it works both ways some say its well worth the money when clearly its not.what do you all think

i think they should be locked there was one on the other week for offers around 40k then 2 comments saying they had seen it and one said it was easy worth 50k and other said 60k cant understand why they didnt buy it between them at 40k and sell it for profit

I agree BJ, so many times people comment that a cars mint etc but all they have ever seen is a photo on a forum, comment on a car after you've crawled in it and under it, we know all shiney Escorts aint mint, turds can be polished.
The £40k car, the seller set his price and if owners of similar cars want to think they are all worth £20k more then fair enough but it stood long enough at Heaves with £40k in the window and there wasn't a que forming to buy it, dunno if it sold.
Yeah, imo lock for sale threads.
