Mine's ready. I did a run up to Hereford & back tonight (about a hundred miles) to test everything was OK... and everything is good!

I had to open my fat gob didn't I. It wouldn't start this morning and I found this nice little surprise in the engine bay:



I've no idea whether the valves clear the pistons, I think the 2 litre Pinto is OK if standard, but this one has a high-lift cam and the block has been skimmed. I'll know later this morning what the damage is.

Had a moment on the rollers today when one of my injectors decided to let go and fill number 1 cylinder with more fuel then it needed/wanted!!

New injectors fitted, full re-map and 200bhp later, all good

Front suspension sorted out, last bit of interior fitted and now partly packed, parked up outside, ready for an early start
