  • is it an obcession

sometimes i wonder if i am obcessed with the mex ,my kids came into a little money and they wanted to buy something that i would like so i got a new carpet from altridge trimming and new cill trims from escort tec in all £270 ,would never dream on spending so much on anything else not even her indoors but yet for the mex i seem to be able to justify it crikey imagine if had proper money would go loopy with the car and bits

i always looked at it as getting the car to a certain standard then enjoying the thing .................. however there was always something that needed upgrading or sorting ................and i guess parts a just a little more pricey nowadays because of their rarity factor you find yourself paying what seems daft amounts out for them

if i came into serious money i would start allover again and make it as good as kas 's mex,the problem i have is as i'm so far away and on a n island transport costs are sometimes crippling

Could you stick a few photos of the carpet when you fit it and before you put the seats back to get an idea of the look of the aldrige product

dude i'm never happy, always seem to get something done then look at something else and that bugs me. The rs2k is pretty much there would like to redo the underneath just painting dove grey etc sometime but the mex really needs the whole underside stripping and boot doing. trouble is can't be arsed at the mo. one day maybe.

                        It's definately becoming one
Doesn't seem to matter how much you spend on a car you'll always want / need to change things to make them just how you'd like it

Yer transport costs are crippling when you have to send something from the UK to NZ, backed into the letter box and killed the bumper
second hand bumper $20..... not now more like $100 if you find one
so abit of this to the bumper no worries

hence the car will never be seen again
