its not a subject that interests me, but i'm certain i had an experience once when i was around 13/14

The house i lived in at the time backed onto a church/graveyard.
I awoke at about 2 in the morning and thought i saw a weird light coming through the window, so i drew the curtains back and stood in the graveyard was a little girl (looked about 7 or 8 yrs old) staring down at a headstone holding some flowers. After a few seconds she looked left and clocked me, so i shot back and closed the curtains.
After a few more seconds i poked my head back through the curtain but there was noone there, no sign of anyone being there etc etc

I've been convinced for years this was a ghost ..... but i am unsure whether i dreamt it or not

Was driving along a country road one winter night it was cold and raining heavily,me and my wife both at the same time saw an old woman in a nightshirt walking along the road.we stopped and turned the road was narrow and walled all the way along went back in a few seconds and she wasnt there.i got out the car and looked everywhere she couldnt have jumped the wall or went anywhere.my wife was freaked out it must have been a ghost as we both saw her.there was an old hospital site just beside the rd years ago and heard many creepy stories from my aunt who worked in it

try living in my house, i wont stay down stairs on my own at night, had an uncal here to stay couple of years back, made him up a nice bed in my study......2am hes knocking on my bedroom door begging me to stay upstairs with us,and hes an ex military hard nut!, lots of weird things here from lights on and off to pictures moving from room to room, have to disconnect the cooker each night now as that also started coming on in the night, oh.....and of the 3 dogs we have owned none of them would stay downstairs either (rotty inc!!).

not really a ghost story but a weird one...in 2003 7 of us went to france in 2 cars on the way down there we were in the middle of nowhere on the motorway 5 hours into our journey about an hour from our destination when my mate in his car in front turned off down a slip road turned right and stopped in a dirt track lay by. i got out and asked him why he stopped and he said i dont know, i thought you wanted me.the road was straight and about half a mile in the distance was what looked a pretty village.i called him a prick and we turned around and got back onto the motorway.it was 50 cent to get back on through the barrier but i had no less than 2 francs and didnt get any change! the following year we went back to france on our own but before we went we decided to look into finding out where my mams uncle was buried in a war grave and if it wasn`t out of the wy we would go and see it. it was pretty much on route so we headed for it. when we finally got to the turn off on the motorway it was exactly the same turn off that my mate had took for no reason the previous year and the grave was in the pretty village that was in the distance.

I promise what I type next is genuine !

As a 14 year old I stayed at my mates one Saturday night (just the once), a flat above a 16th century pub his mum and dad were landlord/lady of called the royal oak at langstone. About 4am he started talking in his sleep and woke me up. Shortly after in the bathroom, which was the next room, the light clicked on the bog seat was smashed down with some force and the bog light went off. Nobody had gone past the open bedroom door. My heart was now beating a way out of my chest and I was literally scared stiff and couldn't awaken my mate as a woman was stood in the doorway, this woman was clearly not his mum..........
I adopted the foetal position on the floor in the sleeping bag waiting for something to happen to me, nothing did. I some how managed to get back to sleep. When I re-awoke it was light and I told my mate what happened, he had heard stuff before but nothing as intense as I described.
I bought a book "haunted Hampshire" a few years back and the pub and the woman are mentioned, the book was printed over 10 years after I had my 'visit', still gives me the creeps

Going back about 3 years I was driving home from fast eddies, summer evening, pretty warm, it's getting dark and I'm driving a country road. I see a kid on a bike comin towards me with no lights on, so I slowed right down. As I got to him he made no eye contact, almost a vacant stare, it went noticeably cold and there was an awful smell, not a country smell but a rank smell, the kid turns directly behind me still not looking where he was going!

That one freaked me right out...... Even just writing that :-/

I swear these are not made up

gives me goose bumps reading some of these!

when i was about 14 i stayed in a small cottage with my mum and dad which which was the gate house to a big ish private owned estate with a big house and huge forest.
one night me and 3 mates decided to camp out in a hut we made out of an old shooting hide.
we all got woken up by a rustling sound out side which we thought was maybe a dear then we all at the same time said can you hear that?? we all said we could hear the sound of a few children singing ring a ring a roses but the thing it it was about 4 in the morning......we proper shat ourselves.

another story from the exact same place is i was sat in my room one night recording tunes from radio one onto an old used tape ( makes me feel old!! ) id got to the end of the tape and wanted to blank the end of it so id set it to record nothing.... or so i thought.
i didnt realise that my radio had a mic on it so it recored me putting things away im my room instead of nothing.
when i played it back to check it had worked it played 2 big bangs and then the sound of a toddlers voice saying "down in moo moo land mmmmm"

the second last tune on that tape is justified and and ancient by klf......ive still got that tape and ive played it to many people and ive been told i should get it checked out by someone.

                      heres the tune

The "All Bound For Mu Mu Land version" featuring Maxine Harvey on vocals

id mentioned to my mum that id heard a todlers voice in my room and she said i should speak to a woman who works in the big house who used to live in our house a few years earlyer. she said she'd been told that a baby/todler had died in that room a long long time ago (must be 35 ish years ago now) and that her dogs which were great daine type thingys were scared to go in that room when she lived there but she didnt know why.
i get goose bumps every time i tell anyone abou that tape.

                      makes you wonder..............

I swear the two stories below are true.

A few years ago a very good friend sadly died. Before he died during one of our pi$$ taking sessions at our local motor club he said that when he died he would come back and haunt us all. We have said several times since he died" there can't be a life after death as Tony hasn't been back to see us". Last summer whilst working alone on my allotment I was suddenly aware of someone on the path about 6 feet from me. I looked up and there was a man who was a spitting image of Tony. I suddenly went very cold. He just looked at me,said hello, turned and walked away. I had never seen this man before or since at my allotment. Was it Tony?

My second experience is not a ghost story but strange all the same.
In 1968 I bought a Breitling watch which worked perfectly for about 20 years then it stopped. I put it in a drawer as I couldn't afford to get it repaired. After several years my wife said she would get it repaired as my Christmas present so she took it to the Breitling agents. They looked at it but could not repair it so she brought it back and back into the drawer it went. A couple of years later I was watching a program on telly with Uri Geller. He said that if anyone had a broken watch to get it out as he was going to try to repair it by using the power of his mind so out came the Breitling. He issued instructions and at the given time all the people watching were to chant 3 times 1 2 3 work. This I duly did and was amazed when the watch started to work. That was in about 1994 and the watch has never missed a beat since. Coincidence or magic? maybe someone can tell me.

                        Phil.

keep em coming boys these are great. Got to admit getting the old goose bumps reading some of them.

Johnny p aka rhkshellsport when we were doing my engine bay last year would not stay at his workshop when it got dark as he was adamant there is a ghost up there. His mate who also uses the workshop won't either they both have experienced it.

Seems to me that a lot of people has seen or experienced something thats why theres got to be something in it I reckon. Guess we'll all find out one day.
