Hi Paul, thanks for the kind words, hope your well. God !!!!!! all this wants me to own an RS again. I just dont think it,ll do my emotional well being any good. I spoke to the new owner this morning and have dug out the various trophys i won and will be taking them up to Paul when i see the car, hopefully in a week or two. As i said to GazW lastnight, ive been "watching" the restos now for sometime, the three that stand out for me are the Green Broadstripe, PRS, yellow MK2 and the red MK1 Mexico, simply stunning and Gerards bits and pieces that,ll keep any resto honest.

Hi guys reading all of this got me thinking.

If people are going to have a pop at someone elses car that's all well and good but show your own efforts first or SHUT IT.

I travelled from Australia to rockingham in 07 and I'm glad I did for two reasons firstly I got to see worthers in the flesh and Mr parker you should be proud it did raise the bar and was worth 27 hours travelling. Secondly I saw that concours hasn't changed for the better since I was last there in 1996. It probably never will.

Paul cracking purchase and from what I understand of you it's going to a good home.

I love this forum and I was glad to see Ian posting again. I've never met the man but like many of you we share the same passion therefore in my book you're good blokes and gals.

Ian please keep contributing I'm sure the regulars are glad to see you back.
